Privacy & safety

Prototype policy · last updated July 2026. Plain-language summary of how this works. This is not legal advice and will be replaced with a full policy before any public launch.

What you send us

The text of a conversation you paste, and an optional one-line context. We ask you to only submit conversations that are synthetic (made up) or that everyone in them has agreed to.

How it's processed

Your text is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) to produce the analysis. Before the model scores anything, it replaces names, handles, phone numbers, addresses, workplaces, schools, and locations with neutral tokens like “Person A.” You can expand “What the AI saw” on any result to check the redaction yourself. You must consent to this AI processing before each analysis.

What we keep

By default, nothing. The raw conversation you paste is used to generate the result and then dropped — it isn't written to a database, and we don't retain screenshots. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. If you join the waitlist, we store the email you give us so we can tell you when the app ships, and nothing else.

Sharing is a separate, deliberate step

Results are private to you. The shareable Arena card contains only the verdict, the aura number, and a roast of the message pattern — never readable private text and never a real person's name. Some results are marked not shareable when a clean card can't be made without exposing detail.

Safety

The analysis screens for coercion, threats, stalking, self-harm, exploitation, and situations involving minors. When any of those show up, it stops scoring: no roast, no aura number. Instead it names the pattern plainly and points to real resources (like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and the National Domestic Violence Hotline). The Wingman advice mode is communication help for adults — it is not therapy, medical, or legal advice, and it will never coach you to pressure, deceive, monitor, or retaliate against another person.

Who it's for

Adults, 18 and older. We don't knowingly analyze minors' romantic or sexual conversations, and content involving a minor in that context is refused.

Your choices & contact

Because we don't store your conversations, there's nothing to delete on that side. To be removed from the waitlist, or to report misuse of the product, contact the team at the address published on the live app. Reports are reviewed and acted on.

Cooked is entertainment. An aura score is a joke about a message, not an objective measure of anyone's worth, attractiveness, or relationship prospects.
